Beyond Meat (beyondmeat.com), El Segundo, Calif., expands its plant-based chicken portfolio with two kid-friendly options that mimic the taste and texture of their animal-based counterparts. Made from a blend of faba beans and peas — and no added antibiotics, hormones or soy — pre-cooked Beyond Chicken Nuggets and Beyond Popcorn Chicken offer 14 grams of plant-based protein and 0 mg of cholesterol per serving. Plus, they contain 50% less saturated fat than a leading brand of traditional breaded chicken nuggets. Offered in 10-ounce bags packed eight to a case, both items can be prepared in an air fryer in less than 5 minutes. SRP is $5.99.
