Seattle-based MiLa (thexcj.com), formerly known as Xiao Chi Jie, launches a line of authentic, restaurant-quality Chinese soup dumplings for retail. Previously available only direct-to-consumer, the frozen, clean-label dumplings are offered in three flavors: Pork, Pork & Shrimp and Chicken. They’re ready to eat in 12 minutes. Packed eight to a case, each 8.8-ounce, 10-count package (with steamer sheets) is expected to retail for $7.99 to $9.99.
