(Glenville, NY) – Polly-O and Cappiello cheeses recently won a total of seven prestigious awards at the 2025 New York State Fair Dairy Competition. The outstanding cheeses were awarded first place golds in several categories, showcasing BelGioioso’s commitment to quality and freshness.

Polly-O celebrates with two first place golds in the Mozzarella and Ricotta categories for their Whole Milk String Cheese and New York Style Impastata. Cappiello, known regionally for crafting artisanal Fresh Mozzarella, earned a gold in the Flavored Natural Cheese Class for their Smoked Fresh Mozzarella Ball. Polly-O and Cappiello cheeses are crafted in Campbell and Glenville, New York, using fresh, local milk.

The dairy competition draws entries from across the state and is part of the New York State Fair, which celebrates the best of the region’s agriculture and food products each year. The medals will be officially awarded on August 28^th, 2025, during the Dairy Day Recognition & Awards Reception. Polly-O and Cappiello Cheesemakers will receive three first place golds, two silvers and two awards of excellence.
