Boston-based meal kit provider Purple Carrot (purplecarrot.com) brings its 100% plant-based single-serve meals to the frozen aisle. Created in conjunction with Conagra, the non-GMO, vegan lineup includes four globally inspired entrees: Plant-Based Meatball Marinara (with Gardein Meatless Meatballs), Maple Chipotle Veggie Bowl, Sweet Corn Elote Bowl, and Fiesta Pepper Bowl (with Gardein Beefless Grounds). Packed six to case, each 10.75-ounce meal is expected to retail for around $5.29.
