Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg’s rolls out a pair of plantbased Chik’n Tenders under its Incogmeato by MorningStar Farms (morningstarfarms.com) brand. Made with non- GMO soy and fibers that mimic the texture of real chicken, the tenders contain more protein (17 grams) and less fat (9 grams) per serving than traditional chicken tenders and no artificial flavors. They’re offered in Original and Sweet BBQ, both coated in a crispy homestyle breading. Packed five to a case, each 13.5-ounce bag carries a $6.39 SRP. The product is also available for foodservice.
