Base Culture (baseculture.com), Clearwater, Fla., launches a pair of gluten-, soy- and grain-free certified Paleo brownies made with real, clean ingredients and no preservatives or artificial anything. Soft and cake-like, Cashew Butter Blondies feature caramel and honey topped with crunchy pecan pieces while Raspberry Cocoa Brownies combine dark chocolate with tart raspberry pieces. A seasonal variety, Peppermint Cocoa Brownie, will also be available for a limited time during the fourth quarter. The non-GMO, kosher treats are shipped and sold frozen, though they can also be refrigerated for up to two months (ambient shelf life is approximately three weeks). Packed 20 to a case, each 2.2-ounce package contains two servings. SRP is $1.99.
