Lineage Logistics is acquiring Quebec-based Marc Villeneuve Inc. Last year it acquired Ontario Refrigerated Services. When the acquisition closes, Lineage will employee 150 people in Canada.

Marc Villeneuve is a cold storage distribution service in suburban Montreal. It distributes ice cream products for Chapman’s. Its newly built Montreal facility is energy efficient and has a CO2-based refrigeration system.

Lineage now has a direct-to-store distribution service in Quebec and will add 6,800 additional pallet positions to its global footprint. It is the world’s largest temperature-controlled industrial REIT and logistics solutions provider.
