Sheboygan Falls, Wis.-based Johnsonville (johnsonville. com) presents an innovative new form for its smoked sausage: bacon-style strips. Made with premium cuts of pork and no MSG, the fully cooked strips look and cook like bacon but offer the flavor, texture and versatility of sausage. They’re merchandised in the pre-cooked bacon section but contain 40% less fat and 30% less sodium than bacon. Available flavors include: Original, Spicy, Maple and Chorizo. The product can be prepared in the oven, on the stovetop, in an air fryer or on the grill. Packed 12 to a case, each 12-ounce package carries a $4.99 SRP.
