Grass Run Farms (grassrunfarms.com), a collaboration of Midwest family farms that produce 100% grass-fed beef, rolls out its first individually quick frozen (IQF) ground beef patties. Intended to prevent burgers from sticking together, loss of nutrients and color, dehydration and unfavorable changes in texture and shape, the all-natural, 80% lean, one-third-pound patties are ready to cook straight from the package — no defrosting required. Retailers can choose either six-count recyclable cartons or resealable pouches, both packed six to a case. Each package carries a $13.49 SRP.
