West Hutchison

Vertical Cold Storage, North South City, S.D., named industry veteran West Hutchison its new president and CEO. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, serving most recently as senior vp of network optimization/M&A at Lineage Logistics.

Vertical Cold has made several acquisitions during the past 18 months and plans additional announcements of both purchases and ground-up facilities in the coming year. Hutchison is expected to lead the company’s efforts to build a global network of facilities utilizing standardized processes and automation to deliver customer-focused solutions for frozen, refrigerated and dry storage; blast freezing; exports; case picking and rail transloading.
