Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Swell Ice Cream (swellfoods.com), formerly offered under the ProYo brand, adds two creamy, inclusion-rich flavors to its rebranded collection: Chocolate Chip Cookie Batter and Cookies ‘n Cream. Like the rest of the gluten- and soy-free, low-glycemic lineup, the newcomers boast a market-leading 10 grams of protein, 2.5 grams (or less) of fat and 120 calories per half-cup serving. Also free of artificial colors and stabilizers, the non-GMO, better-for-you frozen desserts come in redesigned 14-ounce containers (packed eight to a case) featuring photos of the ice cream so consumers can visualize what’s inside.
