New York-based Kidfresh (kidfresh.com) adds a pair of healthy single-serve frozen entrees to its wholesome, kid-friendly lineup, featuring “hidden” veggies in every dish. Made with non-GMO ingredients and no artificial flavors or colors, Gluten-Free White Mac ‘N Cheese (with 12 grams of protein) combines gluten-free pasta, white cheddar cheese from cows not treated with rBST and pureed white beans, while Junior Burritos (a great source of calcium and Vitamin A) include uncured ham, real cheddar cheese, whole wheat tortillas and pureed butternut squash and sweet potatoes. The mac and cheese (6.3 ounces) is expected to retail for $3.49, the burritos (6.5 ounces), $3.99. Both are packed eight to a case.
