Magistrelli has held several roles in Wakefern’s dairy/deli/frozen division for half of her 21 years at the company. A member of the board of directors of the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association, she was a 2017 recipient of the TWIN (Tribute to Women of Influence) Award, presented by the YWCA of Union County, N.J., to honor women who have made significant contributions to their industry.

She is passionate about Wakefern’s commitment to providing people with healthy, affordable food for their families. “I also take pride in developing and empowering associates to learn and grow within their careers,” she says.

“As women, we sometimes struggle with who we think we ‘are supposed to be’ in order to advance professionally. My advice to women with career growth goals has always been to stay focused and work hard, but always be yourself. I have tried to lead by example in all the roles I’ve held, and encourage others to grow and lead their own way,” Magistrelli notes.
