Cleveland-based Cleveland Kitchen expands its line of fermented foods with Classic Kimchi made in the USA with local produce and spices. The gut-healthy, probiotic-rich product offers a fresh twist on the traditional Korean side, combining cabbage with garlic, greens, carrots and Gochugaru red peppers. Like all fresh fermented foods in the Cleveland Kitchen lineup, the new addition is gluten-free, keto-friendly and plant-based. It can be eaten with eggs, salads, rice bowls, sandwiches and any other dish that needs a touch of heat. Offered in resealable 16-ounce bags (packed six to a case), Classic Kimchi is expected to retail for around $5.99.
