Rosina Food Products (rosina.com), Buffalo, N.Y., launches a collection of premium, chef-inspired frozen meatballs that can be used in a variety of traditional and non-traditional dishes. Ready in as little as 60 seconds, the Oven Fired Artisan lineup includes three flavors, all free of hydrogenated oils: Pineapple Chorizo (ground pork, serrano chili peppers and pineapple), Smoky Maple Bacon (ground pork, applewood smoked bacon and sweet maple) and Tuscan-Style Veal (veal, parmesan and romano cheese, basil and oregano). All are available in the standard 0.5-ounce size (32 per bag); the Tuscan-Style Veal variety is also offered in a 2-ounce “dinner” size (eight per bag). Packed six to a case, each 16-ounce package features a kraft paper-type background, eye-catching graphics and bold colors. SRP is $5.99.
