World Finer Foods, Bloomfield, N.J., launches a line of frozen plant-based meat alternatives featuring nutrient-rich artichokes as the lead ingredient (supported by a blend of spinach, quinoa and chickpeas). The new Cutting Vedge (cuttingvedge.com) collection includes Burgers, Sweet Italian Sliced Sausage, Crumbles and Meatballs, all ready to eat in 10 minutes or less. Free of gluten, soy and dairy, the clean, non-GMO products are a good source of iron and protein. Cutting Vedge Burgers are offered in two-count 7-ounce packages with a $6.99 SRP while the Sliced Sausage, Crumbles and Meatballs come in 8-ounce packages with a $7.99 SRP. All four SKUs are packed six to a case.
