New York-based A La Mode (alamodeshoppe.com) brings its allergy-friendly artisanal ice cream from the scoop shop to retail with a collection of packaged pints and novelties. Made in a dedicated nut-, sesame- and egg-free facility, the high-end ice cream boasts a super-creamy mouthfeel, thanks to 16% butterfat content. Pint flavors include Vanilla, Chocolate, Pink Sprinkle (vanilla with rainbow sprinkles), Partly Cloudy (cotton candy with marshmallows), Speed Bump (chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate chips), Wired (coffee with chocolate chips) and new Cooks (vanilla with cookies and fudge swirls). All pint flavors are also available in single-serve cups sold in four-count, 14-ounce boxes. In addition, the company offers Chocolate-Dipped Ice Cream Bars (Vanilla, Wired and Speed Bump dipped in dark chocolate and Partly Cloudy dipped in white chocolate), in four-count, 11.52-ounce boxes. All items are expected to retail for $5.49 to $5.99.
