Solon, Ohio-based Lean Cuisine (leancuisine.com), part of the Nestlé USA portfolio, debuts four Balance Bowls that meet the nutritional guidelines of the American Diabetes Association’s new Better Choices for Life program. Billed as a category first, the lineup includes Tex-Mex Rice & Black Beans, Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry, Roasted Eggplant Parmesan Pasta and Creamy Pasta Primavera. Each 9.75- to 10-ounce frozen meal contains fewer than 400 calories, a full serving of vegetables and zero grams of added sugar. SRP is $4.49.
