Leading third-party logistics provider RLS Logistics, Mount Laurel, N.J., recently welcomed Merchants Cold Storage as its latest warehouse partner. A subsidiary of the Castellini Group of Companies, the Walton, Ky.-based 3PL will now be known as RLS Merchants. It offers temperature-controlled warehousing, cross-docking, rail services through Norfolk Southern, blast-freezing and other value-added services and gives frozen and refrigerated food manufacturers in the Greater Cincinnati region, Kentucky, Ohio and other Midwest states access to the RLS network.
The addition of RLS Merchants to the team supports RLS Logistics’ mission of becoming a top-tier network of regional, family-owned temperature-controlled warehouse providers that emphasize responsive customer service, solid customer relationships, loyalty and entrepreneurism. The company noted in a press release that “RLS’s network provides a refreshing alternative to national conglomerates for expansion-minded food manufacturers that are used to working with family-run warehouses.”
