Ithaca Hummus (ithacahummus.com), Rochester, N.Y., enters a new category with its Fire Roasted Salsa. Made with cold-pressed diced veggies, lime juice and seasonings — and none of the artificial ingredients or preservatives found in jarred options — the Non-GMO Project Verified salsa uses high-pressure processing (HPP) to preserve nutrients and flavor. It’s available in three heat levels: Mild, Medium and Hot. Packed six to a case, each tub is expected to retail for around $6.99.
