Plant-Based Whipping Cream

Country Crock (countrycrock.com), owned by Hackensack, N.J.-based Upfield, expands its line of dairy-free products with a “no-sacrifice” certified plant-based alternative to heavy whipping cream. Country Crock Plant Cream contains 29% less saturated fat than dairy-based heavy whipping cream and offers an easy 1:1 swap in a variety of recipes. Also gluten- and soy-free, the vegan product comes in 16.9-ounce cartons (12 per case) with a $3.99 SRP.
