Ready-To-Eat Pit-Smoked Barbecue

Henderson, Texas-based Sadler’s Smokehouse (, part of the Hormel Foods family of brands, launches a line of ready-to-eat Texas barbecue. Made from butcher-quality meats pit-smoked for up to 18 hours over slow-smoldering wood coals, the “hassle-free” collection includes premium beef brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken and St. Louis ribs. All are free of artificial ingredients. Offered in 16-ounce packages, the pulled pork and pulled chicken are expected to retail for around $9.99 while the sliced brisket will go for $15.99. The ribs are offered in random-weight packages with a $9.99 per pound SRP. All four SKUs come six to a case.
