Ron Suchecki Jr. Dies of COVID

Ron and Terry Suchecki, well known for many years in the frozen food industry, sadly report the death of their son, Ron Jr., from COVID. A friend has developed a tax deductible Go Fund Me account for the family, http://gf.me/u/zif6is. For the many of you who knew Ron Sr., first from Lender’s and then from Mrs.T’s, this is a profound shock. Their daughter Jeannie died in an accident some years ago; now they have lost both their children. Ron Jr. was hospitalized for weeks before passing, and medical bills will be enormous. Below is information about the Go Fund Me account, taken from Caring Bridge. Please consider donating.

This fund is being used to help cover Ron’s many medical expenses, as well as provide some long term and short term support for Melinda, and their four children, Jacob and Caleb (19), Sage (17), and Samuel (4).

Ron was the primary source of income for his family and was self-employed. The twins are in college at Texas A&M and Baylor University, Sage is a junior in high school, and sweet baby Samuel has Downs Syndrome and stays home with Melinda. The goal of raising $50,000 has been set in order to hopefully cover a portion of his medical expenses, contribute towards their house payment, and to help with upcoming tuition payments for the kids. It is our hope, however, that we would raise even more in order to allow Melinda and her kids the time and space they need to process this significant and sudden change to their family.

All donations received here will go directly to the Suchecki Family Benefit Fund at Community Bank & Trust. You can also make donations to this account directly at the bank. Any amount—however large or small—will be a great comfort and, we hope, a blessing to you as much as it will be for this family.

You may also contact Community Bank & Trust, Waco, Texas directly at 2547531521 and ask about the Suchecki Family Benefit account — or mail donations to the bank at: Benjamin Lacy, FBO Suchecki Family Benefit Account, P.O. Box 2303, Waco, Texas 76703.
