Detroit-based Steve’s Mediterranean Chef ( expands its line of authentic Mediterranean foods with Garlic Sauce (or “toum”) hand-crafted in the U.S.A. from simple ingredients like garlic, olive oil and lemon juice. Based on a traditional Lebanese family recipe that dates back several generations, the Mediterranean staple can be used as a sandwich spread, dip or sauce and comes in both 10- and 12-ounce containers. SRPs are $4.99 and $5.99, respectively, and each case includes 12 units.
