Dallas-based Dean Foods adds a group of individually sized frozen dessert cups to its Friendly’s (friendlys.com/retail) lineup. Inspired by consumers’ favorite classic desserts, Friendly’s Dessert Cups are created using a proprietary production process that allows the company to layer as many as six distinctive ingredients, including ice cream, cake and pie crust bits, vanilla wafer crumbles and fruit pieces. Available flavors include Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate-Peanut Butter Fudge, Blackberry Peach Pie, Red Velvet Cake and Pecan Praline.
