Ancient Grain Pizza

Austin, Texas-based Smart Flour ( adds two new flavors to its line of nutrient-rich ancient-grain pizza. Built atop a thin and crispy, Non GMO Project-verified crust featuring a proprietary, gluten-free blend of sorghum, amaranth and teff, the newcomers include Three Meat (traditional tomato sauce piled with sweet Italian sausage, nitrate- and nitrite-free uncured pepperoni and bacon) and Kale and Sundried Tomatoes (pureed white bean and garlic sauce paired with green kale and sundried tomatoes). Both pies are free of added MSG, preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, rice flour and many common allergens, including gluten, wheat, nuts, tree nuts, soy and eggs. Offered in newly redesigned 10.45-ounce (Three Meat) and 9.84-ounce (Kale and Tomatoes) boxes packed six to a case, the pizzas carry a $7.99 SRP.
