Feel Good Foods is planning to launch frozen empanadas and taquitos (both available in chicken, beef, and vegetable varieties) – the brand’s first step outside of Asian-inspired cuisine. The new Latin-inspired appetizers will be available in stores by late 2016.
With the launch of their latest chef-inspired, high-quality frozen appetizers, Feel Good Foods is continuing their mission to bring clean label, gluten-free, preservative-free, and non-GMO food to busy consumers looking for delicious and convenient food “with no junk and no guilt,” as co-founder and CEO Vanessa Phillips says.
The man behind the bold, ethnic flavors of Feel Good Foods is co-founder and chef, Tryg Siverson. His background is in the restaurant industry, and he is excited to have created a line of frozen appetizers and meals that he would be proud to serve to his colleagues in the fine dining world.
The 6 new products will join the brand’s existing 10 products – egg rolls and dumplings in both pork, vegetable, and chicken varieties, and 4 Asian-inspired entrees: General Tso’s Chicken, Vegetable Fried Brown Rice, Mongolian Beef with Asparagus, and Broad Noodles with Chicken & Chinese Broccoli.
Recently MSNBC’s Your Business voted Feel Good Foods’ delicious products a 10 out of 10, the first company to ever get a perfect score from their panel of experts. The company then caught the attention of CNBC and Forbes (with a feature out soon). They’re excited to announce that they have just been named on the 2016 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the United States!

About Feel Good Foods:
Feel Good Foods was born when Vanessa Phillips was diagnosed with Celiac disease and struggling with deprivation after giving up gluten. Her now husband, Tryg Siverson, was a talented chef (with a background working at hotspots like Nobu and Spice Market) and was up for a challenge; he set to work recreating all of Vanessa’s favorite foods, without gluten. The dumplings came first, and the rest quickly fell into place.
Feel Good Foods launched in 2011, with their dumplings being sold in 27 Whole Foods Market locations. Today, their gluten-free dumplings, egg rolls, and Asian-inspired meals are sold in 4,000 stores nationwide (including Whole Food Market, Sam’s Club, Sprouts, Wegmans, ShopRite & more). Empanadas and Taquitos will hit shelves late this year.
